Free Spirit Festival 2018 – Kids
From 15 to 21 July the Free Spirit Festival offers Kids and young adults the opportunity to become part of the Festival and to develop their skills, with the emphasis of having fun.
They will be able to get to know their dancing role models on a personal level, to experience the exciting atmosphere of the festival and to make new friends all around the world.
Kids Workshops
3 Workshops in Hip Hop and Mixstyle are intended to develop the children´s dance skills, to work on their mobility and to get to know the urban dance world.
3 internationally known teachers will work with the kids und will push them individually. The workshops are meant for 8 to 15 years olds. We offer 2 workshop packages, which can be booked and with whom the kids can create their own schedule. All the workshops are taught all level, that means you can participate with or without any dance experience.
Kids Mixstyle Battle
The children get the opportunity to participate in the Battle program on Saturday (July 20) and on Sunday (July 21). There will be an own kids category for 6 to 15 year olds. The music will be “Mixstyle” on both days.
1vs.1 Mixstyle Kids Battle
Ages: 6-15 years
Kids get 40 seconds in preselection. After that a judging team will select the best 8.

Kids Championship
2vs2. Mixstyle Kids Battle
Ages: Up to 15 years
The couple gets 1 minute together in preselection. A routine is allowed. Primary focus should be on freestyle. After that a judging team will select the best 8 couples.
